The new Renzo Piano-designed wing will open to the public for the first time on Thursday, January 19th, 2012. Among the inaugural season's programming highlights are three contemporary exhibitions and installations and an expanded concert series showcasing three new works commissioned in honor of the new Calderwood Performance Hall.
